BlockSim
supports all of the following fault tree analysis diagram configurations.
Fault Tree Diagrams with AND Gate Configurations
If both input events (A and B) occur, then the output event (system failure) will occur.
Fault Tree Diagrams with OR Gate Configurations
If any of the input events (A or B or C) occurs, then the output event (system failure) will occur.
Fault Tree Diagrams with Voting OR Gate Configurations
If a specified number of the input events occur (A and B, A and C, or B and C), then the output event (system failure) will occur.
Fault Tree Diagrams with Inhibit Gate Configurations
If the input events (A and B) and another conditional event (C) occur, then the output event (system failure) will occur.
Fault Tree Diagrams with Load Sharing Gate Configurations
The probability of occurrence for each input event (BA, BB and BC) is dependent on the occurrence of the other events.
Fault Tree Diagrams with Standby Gate Configurations
If the active input event (A) occurs then the standby input events (B and C) occur, then the output event (system failure) will occur.
Fault Tree Diagrams with Combinations of Gates
The output event (system failure) will occur if A, B, C or D occurs or if 2 out of three of E, F or G occurs or if any of H, I, J, K or L occurs and any of M, N, O or P and Q occurs.
