Additional Tools to Expand Your Analysis
RGA 6 provides all of the supporting features that you have come to expect from ReliaSoft software, as well as some new
supporting features that are specific to the requirements of reliability growth
and repairable systems analysis.
Design of Reliability Tests
The Design of Reliability Testing (DRT) utility supports the Parametric Binomial, Non-Parametric Binomial and Exponential Chi-Squared methods for designing reliability tests. You can use this
utility to determine the amount of test time or the number of test units required to demonstrate a given reliability or MTBF. For the Parametric Binomial method, this even includes results
tables and carpet plots to demonstrate your options (i.e. a range of test times, number of units and maximum allowable failures).
Use the DRT to help design efficient and effective reliability tests to demonstrate the required reliability/MTBF.

Flexible Spreadsheets and Wizards
RGA's flexible spreadsheets for
custom analysis provide complete in-cell formula support, cell references and over 140 built-in functions. The
Function Wizard inserts a
variety of results based on the analysis in the linked data sheet and the Chart Wizard generates
graphical charts based on your custom analysis. In addition, the Quick Statistical Reference (QSR)
provides common statistical results, such as Median Ranks and Chi-Squared values, saving you from tedious lookups in statistical tables.
Use the Function Wizard in conjunction with the General Spreadsheet to perform your own custom analyses.

Linked and
Attached Documents
RGA 6 allows you to link or attach independent document files
or Web pages to accompany any analysis. You can link or attach an
unlimited number of files, created with any software application. If the
software required to open the file is installed on your computer, the
file can be opened automatically from RGA.
Integration with Weibull++
RGA provides direct integration with ReliaSoft's life data (Weibull) analysis software, Weibull++.
Weibull++ files can be attached to
the RGA analysis and you can even transfer
time-to-failure data from RGA to Weibull++ for separate analysis.
Configure and Annotate Plot Graphics
RGA's Plot Setup gives you full control over the appearance of the plots you create. You can set the colors, fonts, titles and other chart properties to meet your specific display preferences.
In addition, the RS Draw graphics editor is integrated with RGA's plotting utility, which allows you to annotate and customize any of the plots that you generate to illustrate your analysis.
Customize the Work Environment
RGA's User Setup allows you to configure the work environment
and analysis settings to meet your particular needs. This includes
calculation preferences such as displayed math precision, default plot styles,
menu options, etc.
In addition, the RS Draw graphics
editor is integrated with
RGA's plotting utility, which allows
you to annotate and customize any of the plots that you generate to
illustrate your analysis.
