Weibull++ 6 Modifications and Enhancements
The most recent service release (build) contains all previous modifications.

Build 6.0.11
Modifications

  • Resolved the issue with grouped data when using competing failure modes and the "Use all data if grouped" option.
  • Resolved an intermittent issue with right censored data when calculating likelihood ratio bounds and using the 3-parameter Weibull distribution.
  • Resolved an intermittent issue with the report work center when plotting from the current data sheet and the plot did not exist.

Build 6.0.10
Modifications

  • Added the ability in the ANOVA Tables window to press CTRL+PageDown to move to the next sheet and CTRL+PageUp to move to the previous sheet.
  • Added shortcuts in the Non-Parametric Analysis window.

Build 6.0.9
Modifications

  • Modified routines for "auto computing" integration limits in both the stress-strength and comparison wizards, and included "validate and recompute if needed" functionality.
  • Increased convergence precision for the "Spare" function in the Function Wizard.
  • Resolved the issue with international versions not recognizing comma delimited values in DRT and DRT tables/plots.
  • Resolved the issue with adjusting rank regression points on the probability plot when "Adjusting MLE points on Plot Line" is selected in the User Setup.

Build 6.0.8
Modifications

  • Updated the on-line help file.
  • Resolved issue with grouped data when the mixed Weibull distribution is used with the Fisher Matrix analysis and the number in group is greater than 32,000.
  • Added a horizontal scroll bar to the Data Folio and the Degradation Analysis utility, when the columns are re-sized.

Build 6.0.7
Modifications

  • Modified the line colors and legends for contour plots to avoid confusion when multiple data sets are displayed in the same plot. In multiple plots, all contour lines for a particular data set will be the same color (i.e. the line color specified for that data set in the Multiple Plot Setup). The percentage represented by each line (i.e. contour level) will be displayed in the legend (identified by level number). For single data sets, the user can still specify a unique color for each contour level in the plot and the percentage represented by each line will be displayed in the legend (identified by line color).
  • Resolved the issue with transferring data from the Degradation Analysis utility, when the data contains suspension times and the data set is transferred more than once.
  • Enabled the CTRL-C shortcut for copying data from the spreadsheet in the DRT Table Results and Plots window of the Design of Reliability Tests (DRT) utility.
  • Added the ability to return confidence bounds with the results for the "Failure Rate for range of times" function in the Function Wizard.
  • Added the ability to calculate the conditional reliability confidence bounds in the QCP.

Build 6.0.6
Modifications

  • Resolved an intermittent issue with the ReliaSoft Graphic Print window. The "Copies to print" option will always be set to at least 1.
  • Resolved an issue with confidence bounds for failure rate calculations when the data set is calculated with the exponential distribution. The confidence bounds are now available in the Function Wizard and the upper and lower confidence bounds are now returned in the correct order in QCP results.
  • Added the ability to press CTRL+PageDown to move to the next sheet in the Folio and CTRL+PageUp to move to the previous sheet in the Folio.
  • Resolved an issue with the time values returned by the Function Wizard for the "Table of Times for Probabilities of Failure" function.
  • Resolved an intermittent issue with the "Tip of the Day" feature for network installations.

Build 6.0.5
Modifications

  • Modified the Alter Data Type command so that when the user changes the type of the Data Entry Spreadsheet, he/she must re-calculate the parameters for the data.

Build 6.0.4
Modifications

  • Modified the Report Work Center so that it follows the Scientific Notation settings that have been defined in the User Setup.
  • Resolved the issue with the default analysis method on freeform data sheets. The default analysis method will be set based on the selection in the "Default Regression Method on FF" area of the User Setup's Analysis page.
  • Resolved the issue with transferring data from the Non-Parametric Analysis utility to the Data Folio when the "Use Average Time" option is selected.

Build 6.0.3
Modifications

  • Resolved the issue with evaluation licenses.

Build 6.0.2
Modifications

  • Added the ability to copy a plot in the Degradation Analysis and Non-Parametric Analysis utilities.
  • Streamlined the warning messages displayed during the 3-parameter Weibull MLE solution process. A message is no longer displayed when the initial estimate for gamma is negative if the final estimate for gamma is positive.
  • Resolved the issue with the compatibility of upgrade licenses for the version 4 to 5 upgrade and the version 5 to 6 upgrade.

Build 6.0.1
Modifications

  • Initial Release.
