Compare ALTA Standard vs. ALTA PRO
ReliaSoft’s ALTA software provides full support for analysis of data obtained from quantitative accelerated life tests. The software is available in two versions: Standard and PRO. The Standard edition is intended as an entry-level tool for the reliability professional interested in basic quantitative accelerated life testing data analysis applications. ALTA 7 PRO provides advanced capabilities made possible by extensive research and development in complex quantitative accelerated life testing data analysis techniques.
To help you decide which package is right for you, the following table presents a summary of the major differences between the two versions.
| ALTA Standard | ALTA PRO | |
| Life Distributions | Both versions support Weibull, lognormal and exponential. | |
| Life-Stress Relationships |
|
All of the ALTA Standard models plus:
|
| Parameter Estimation | Both versions provide Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE). | |
| Stresses | Provides models that can analyze data with 1 or 2 stresses that do not vary with time. |
|
| Confidence Intervals | Both versions provide confidence intervals on calculated results and plots. | |
| Analyze data with indicator variables (stress is on/off, lot, etc.) | No | Yes |
| Monte Carlo Data Generation | Available for supported models only. | Available for all models, including those with multiple and/or time-varying stresses. |
| Accelerated Test Plan Utility | Both versions provide access to the accelerated test planning utility. | |
