New Product Release - Lambda Predict 3 for Standards Based Reliability Prediction
TUCSON, AZ (May
4, 2009) - ReliaSoft Corporation announced today the release of a new
major version upgrade to the Lambda Predict software for standards based
reliability prediction analysis. This completely updated software
product was designed and developed by ReliaSoft Corporation from the
ground up, using a new development platform that enables future
integration with other ReliaSoft software. In addition to providing support for updated editions of
the Telcordia and NSWC prediction standards, the new version provides significant
improvements to the user interface, data management capabilities and
plotting/reporting functionality.
When actual product reliability data is not available, standards based reliability prediction may be used to evaluate design feasibility, compare design alternatives, identify potential failure areas, trade-off system design factors and track reliability improvement. ReliaSoft’s Lambda Predict software facilitates failure rate and MTBF predictions based on the major published reliability prediction standards, including MIL-HDBK-217, Bellcore/Telcordia and NSWC (Mechanical).
