In response to
your feedback, we continue to increase the quantity and quality of
reliability information in this publication that you can put into practice
in your real-world applications. This issue of Reliability
Edge includes four more pages than the previous edition and it is
twice the size of the premier issue in the Fall of 2000!
This edition contains comprehensive articles that blend theory and
practice and cover topics ranging from the determination of reliability
specifications and test design to an accelerated life data analysis model
capable of analyzing up to eight stress types (or other reliability
variables). We present a discussion of degradation analysis techniques and
also introduce a new series that presents some classic case studies in
reliability analysis and takes an updated look at these landmark
experiments and papers.
In this issue, we also introduce the release of ReliaSoft's ALTA 6 and
ALTA 6 PRO software. In addition to some introductory material on the
product features, the articles on the general log-linear model
and
degradation analysis demonstrate some of the capabilities of this
powerful new application. More detailed information is available on the
Web at http://ALTA.ReliaSoft.com.
