ReliaSoft is pleased to announce a subscription-based service for a new parts library that facilitates the collection and dissemination of component data for use in standards based reliability predictions. PartLibraries.org is currently available exclusively to users of ReliaSoft's Lambda Predict software, which provides a specialized interface that makes it easy to find and import the information you need. The new subscription service gives access to over 300,000 commercial electronic components from more than 140 manufacturers. You can search by category, part number, supplier, part name and/or part description. The results provide the component failure rate or the reliability prediction parameters required by the MIL-HDBK-217 or Bellcore/Telcordia prediction standards. When applicable, the portal also provides additional details obtained from the manufacturer's spec sheets. This can be a useful additional tool when selecting components for a new design. The information in the database is updated on an ongoing basis in response to user requests and as new data become available.
