In this issue, we have included several articles that describe specific applications for features in the Weibull++ software. This includes support for EDBR methods and burn-in analyses. In addition, in the Guest Submission article that begins on page 16, Dustin Aldridge describes a methodology that uses Weibull++ to estimate suspensions when analyzing automotive mileage data (rather than time in service data) from warranty records. ReliaSoft is pleased to have provided assistance in developing this approach and has incorporated a built-in option for performing the required calculations in the Weibull++ Warranty Analysis Folio. This will be available in the next free Service Release, which will be posted soon on the product Web site.
