Modifications and Enhancements to RENO

The modifications/enhancements for each service release are described next. This information is also available in the ReadMe file that is installed with the software. The most recent service release (build) contains all previous modifications. To determine the Compile Release Version (CRV) of the application on your computer, choose About from the Help menu. Build 1.0.11

  • Resolved an issue with saving projects when certain Windows printer drivers are present on a user's system.
  • Resolved an issue associated with transferring parameters for the Gamma distribution from Weibull++.
  • Resolved an issue associated with the Beta Binomial distribution when the number of trials is greater than 25.

Build 1.0.10

  • Added support for ReliaSoft's Office files.
  • Added Comments and Current Value fields to the Item Properties Table.
  • Added ability to align annotations.
  • Updated the online help files for compatibility with Windows Vista.

Build 1.0.9

  • Resolved an intermittent issue associated with the use of multiple sub-charts where the simulation does not run.
  • Resolved an issue associated with Storage Variables losing their color setting when conditional formatting is disabled and colors other than default are used.
  • Updated file settings of the examples Stress-Strength.rnp and Investment Property.rnp shipped with the application due to issues associated with simulation not recognizing those settings.

Build 1.0.8

  • Resolved issue with exporting to Excel from simulation results.
  • Resolved issue with Storage Variables and Tables not reset accordingly with the "After Each Run" option.
  • Resolved issue with User Name and Company not being transferred correctly from the license activation window.

  • Resolved an issue when the user closes the application while in Debug Mode.
  • Resolved an issue when deleting the last available row of a Table resource.

Build 1.0.6

  • Corrected an issue introduced in the last service release. This is an issue with Build 1.0.5 only and not with the full installation. Specifically, the service release installation resulted in the introduction of an intermittent bug associated with conditional blocks.

  • Added Conditional Color formatting to Result Storages.
  • Added the capability to handle the following operands >=, <=, =<, => in the IF function for the Equation definition, Function definition, and Standard Block equation.
  • Fixed issue with summing gates with option "-", "*", "/"
  • Added capability to Export to Excel from Spreadsheet.
  • Resolved issue of not being able to "un-center" text over range in Spreadsheet.

Build 1.0.2

  • Added capability of blocks reading from Spreadsheets. For instance, Spreadsheet1(1,3,5) is a reference to the cell in the third column and fifth row of the first sheet of Spreadsheet1.
  • Added capability of blocks writing to Spreadsheets. For instance, SET_NUMBER(Spreadsheet1, 1, 3, 5, 1) sets the value of the cell in the third column and fifth row of the first sheet of Spreadsheet1 to 1.
  • Added a Spreadsheet Function Wizard which generates a variety of results in the Spreadsheet based on user inputs.
  • Fixed issue with multiple subdiagrams containing loops.
