Two "Views" to Enter Data for Multiple Systems
For data sets obtained from multiple individual systems, RGA offers two complementary versions of the data sheet in order to make it easier to enter and manage the data.
The Advanced Systems View provides a separate data sheet for each system and a convenient System Explorer Panel that provides a high-level summary of the data and makes it easy to switch between data sheets or even exclude specific systems from the analysis.
The Normal View displays all of the information in a single data sheet with a column for the System ID.
Use Built-in Spreadsheets for Custom Analyses and Reports
General Spreadsheets can be used just like an Excel® worksheet to perform your own customized analyses. These spreadsheets provide complete in-cell formula support, cell references and over 200 built-in functions.
You can use the Function Wizard to insert a wide array of calculated results based on your inputs and, when applicable, a referenced Data Sheet. The Chart Wizard leads you through a step-by-step process to create and configure your own custom charts/plots based on a selected data set.
The Report Wizard utility allows you to design print-ready reports to showcase your analyses. The template feature makes it easy to apply the same report format to different analyses.
Monte Carlo Data Generation and SimuMatic®
With the release of Version 7, RGA now provides a Monte Carlo simulation utility that allows you to create data sets with values randomly generated based on the non-homogeneous Poisson process model.
The SimuMatic® utility expands on this capability by automatically performing specified analyses on a large number of simulated data sets. For example, you may wish to use this tool to experiment with the impact of sample size or test time for reliability demonstration tests or to construct simulation-based confidence bounds.
Easy to Import Data and Integration with Other Software
Of course, RGA makes it easy to import information from other RGA files. In addition, the software provides a flexible wizard that allows you to map the data from an Excel® or delimited text file (*.txt, *.csv, *.prn, *.smc) for import into one of RGA’s Data Folios.
RGA provides direct integration with ReliaSoft’s Weibull++ and XFRACAS software tools.
