Introduction to FRACAS Principles and XFRACAS |
Course Overview
This two-day course provides an introduction to and
overview of the fundamentals of Failure Reporting,
Analysis and Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS) with
emphasis on the configuration and use of ReliaSoft’s
XFRACAS software for incident reporting, failure
analysis, problem resolution and other related analyses.
Topics include: an overview of FRACAS aspects;
discussion of FRACAS best practices; and discussion of
different Problem Resolution processes, such as 8D,
DMAIC, etc. Hands-on application opportunities include
working as part of a team to identify desired features
and configure the XFRACAS system to meet those
requirements as well as practical examples ranging from
reporting and resolving individual incidents, reporting
and managing Problem Resolution Reports (PRRs), using
the search, report, analysis and Dashboard features of
XFRACAS and many more. This course is ideal for people
considering the implementation of a FRACAS system or for
those who have recently acquired the XFRACAS software.
