Course Overview

This two-day course introduces standards based reliability prediction with hands-on training in the use of ReliaSoft's Lambda Predict software. The emphasis is on how to maximize the benefits of Lambda Predict and its wide range of capabilities. The course covers the three most commonly used Reliability prediction standards (MIL-HDBK-217, Bellcore, and NSWC Mechanical) with brief coverage of RDF 2000 and  China 299B.

The workshop begins with an overview of the reliability concepts, why they are needed, key methodologies and the benefits of each technique. Then, each reliability standard is covered via lecture and hands-on activities within Lambda Predict.

Learning Objectives
Course attendees will learn to efficiently perform reliability analyses using Lambda Predict. You will learn how to construct and analyze systems with each standard and perform system modeling in Lambda Predict using case histories and specific examples.
