Users Report Issues from Multiple Locations

Because XFRACAS is a web-based system, it is easy to deploy throughout the organization and even to outside locations such as suppliers, dealers, etc. No individual client installations required!

Based on their specific permissions within the system, many different users at multiple locations can use a convenient web browser to report failures, incidents, issues and suggestions as they occur. They can also take advantage of convenient access to information contributed by other users.

The system also makes it easy to import incident information from other data sources (such as a legacy system, the supplier’s FRACAS system, etc.) via *.xml files. In Version 10, we've increased the flexibility for import scheduling and also added the ability to find and reuse existing text that has been entered for other records.

Sufficient Detail to Understand and Address Each Reported Issue

The Incident page has been designed to allow the organization to capture sufficient detail to understand, categorize, quantify and address each reported issue. Some of the most frequently captured details include:

Configure the Interface to Meet Your Needs

You can customize the Incident page (and all other XFRACAS user interfaces) to fit the specific preferences and needs of your organization. Interface text labels can be easily configured to match your existing internal terminology. You can also add as many data fields as required to fit your data collection needs. No custom programming or added expense!

Automatically Assign the Incident to the Person Responsible

XFRACAS can be configured to automatically assign a new incident for follow-up by the person who is responsible for the part (or area) that the issue relates to.

If desired, the system sends notification e-mails to the responsible person and others who are affected by the issue. Users can also monitor incidents of interest from their configurable personalized portals.

Detailed Failure Analysis

You can also configure the system to capture all of the relevant details of failure analysis investigations performed for returned parts. This gives a complete record of the organization's response to a particular failure and provides valuable data for troubleshooting, reliability analysis and other efforts.
