Reliability centered maintenance

ReliaSoft RCM++ software facilitates the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis approach for creating scheduled maintenance plans, which is an important aspect of an effective asset management program.

The software provides support for the major industry RCM standards, such as ATA MSG-3, SAE JA1011 and SAE JA1012. RCM++ offers extensive configuration options to fit your organization's particular RCM analysis approach. It also provides full-featured capabilities for FMEAs and related analyses.

  • Evaluate whether preventive maintenance (PM) is appropriate and determine the optimum preventive maintenance intervals.
  • Promote analysis processes that are more efficient and more effective, utilizing lessons learned from past analyses when applicable.

RCM++ provides intelligent integration between reliability program activities and tools while simultaneously facilitating effective information sharing and cooperation between engineering teams of any size. The software allows you to:

  • Use models from analyses performed in other ReliaSoft applications to set the reliability/maintenance characteristics of the items and failure modes you're analyzing in XFMEA/RCM++/RBI.
  • Work with the same failure modes and reliability analysis (FMRA) in both XFMEA/RCM++/RBI and BlockSim. This allows you to take advantage of the more advanced system modeling capabilities in BlockSim without having to update and maintain two separate analyses.
  • Use FMEA data to build fault trees in BlockSim.
  • Share system configuration and failure mode data between XFRACAS and XFMEA/RCM++/RBI, with the ability to resynchronize on an ongoing basis.
  • Copy any system from an MPC systems and powerplant analysis into the more flexible XFMEA/RCM++/RBI system hierarchy in the same project.

RCM++ provides predefined profiles that make it easy to configure the analysis workspace to fit the major RCM and FMEA reporting standards, such as:
