Looking again at the storage area network, let's assume that it will be deployed at the current reliability (i.e., the targets computed in Chapter 4 were not implemented). When a component of the network fails, it needs to be repaired or replaced. In this example, the primary objective is the restoration of the network; thus, failed components are replaced with new ones and no troubleshooting is done.
