Temperature Stabilization of Test Product Using Design of Experiment Methods

This webinar will highlight details and demonstrate results, using ReliaSoft software, of how Magna designed an experiment to determine optimal test time and factors that affect system cooling during a test. We will present how the results of the various torque functions were gathered, before the system reached a temperature that would prematurely shut down the testing and how it affected the amount of time to perform the test as well as keeping the design team from getting the information needed to validate the product. Using the ReliaSoft Weibull++ DOE analysis, the experiment was designed, setup, executed and analyzed to provide the optimum conditions that make the test robust.
